Attention ALL Micromouse IEEE Student Enthusiasts: Here is your LAST, LAST CHANCE Competition for this spring term.

IEEE @ UCR will be hosting its first ever Micromouse competition on Sunday, JUNE 2, 2013. This competition will provide students with the opportunity to develop practical technical skill such as circuit design, embedded programming, artificial intelligence, control. In particular, they will be able to demonstrate just what they have learned and developed with their Micromouse project during the current academic year.

Students from all campuses in the IEEE Southern Area as well as the Orange County IEEE Section, the Coastal LA IEEE Section, and the San Diego IEEE Section are invited and encouraged to attend, although all actual Micromouse contestants must be registered IEEE members.
The competition begins 9:00AM Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Winston Chung Hall 138. Teams are encouraged to attend the practice session, which begins at 5:00PM Saturday, JUNE 1, 2013. ( Yes, following true Micromouse competition norms, you may bring your sleeping bag and catch a few hours sleep in the student labs while you continue to do some fine tuning of your “special” Micromouse.)
