IEEE Consultants’ Network Meeting
Will You Lose Your Invention Under The New Patent Law?
Speaker: Robert Cogan
Our speaker on Monday, November 11 will be Robert Cogan, Principal Attorney with Continuum Law in San Diego. The “America Invents Act” makes it easier than ever to lose your right to file a patent application. It is the biggest change since 1839 in the law’s philosophy of how freely American inventors can develop and sell inventions before filing. This presentation will provide insight on how you and your company can keep exclusivity in your invention and still do business.
