Volunteer Resources
IEEE vTools includes several essential portals for IEEE volunteers to fulfill their duties and responsibilties.
Filing an L-31 Report
The L-31 report officially informs IEEE headquarters about our event activities. The L-31 report is now a fully online interactive report. You’ll be using the vTools Events tool to create and submit a report. To do so, please go to: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/ . Sign-in. “Create an event”, even if it is a past event. Then, there will be an option to submit a report for such event. It typically only involves entering the number of attendees, separated by IEEE members and non-IEEE members. For tutorials and instructions on how to create an event and how to submit the report, please use the instructional materials provided by IEEE at http://sites.ieee.org/vtools/vtools-events-tutorials/ . Tutorial #2 and #9 might be sufficient.
Our colleagues and fellow volunteers at other Sections and at the Region level are one of our greatest resources. Don’t hesitate on contacting them for help, advise, and collaborations.
