In December of 2015, a historic settlement agreement was executed setting the stage for the Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) to assume complete ownership and oversight of theOntario International Airport (ONT) during the second half of 2016. On March 7, 2016, Mr. Kelly Fredericks joined the OIAA as its first Chief Executive Officer. Reporting to a five (5) person Board of Commissioners, Mr. Fredericks is responsible for overall management, operations, development, and marketing oversight activities of ONT, a medium commercial service airport and transportation hub serving the Inland Empire, with a service area that includes a population of over six (6)million in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, as well as portions of Orange and Los Angeles counties. Mr. Fredericks’ presentation will provide an update of ONT and his vision for the future of this important airport.
