Bio: Kevin Haley is Director of Product Management for Symantec Security Technology And Response where he is responsible for ensuring the security content gathered from Symantec’s Global Intelligence Network is actionable for its customers. He is the technical advisor and main spokesperson for Symantec Internet Security Threat Report. He served as a technical advisor for Anthony E. Zuiker’s digital crime thriller, “Cybergeddon” and appeared in the documentary “Most Dangerous Town”. He also frequently appears as a security expert for media including The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, Good Morning America, MSNBC, USA Today, New York Times, Forbes, Dow Jones and many others. During his sixteen years at Symantec, Haley has also acted as the Group Product Manager for Symantec Endpoint Protection and our mail security products.

Notes: There is an open plaza / courtyard just east of the Olin Science Building and this lecture hall (named Beckman Hall) is below ground underneath this plaza. Watch for an IEEE sign on an open door to the Olin Bldg. or knock on any door in the center of this building for someone to let you in. Walk downstairs from the Olin Lobby, and you will see our meeting location in a tiered lecture hall.
Parking in the evening is not a problem; see the map link above and park in the lots North or South of the Olin Building, plus street parking in Claremont next to the Olin Building is usually available. Officially Public Parking is available on Foothill Blvd or on Platt Blvd.

From east of Claremont:
On I-210 heading west, exit Base Line Road.
Turn right. Proceed to Mills Ave. (2 lights).
Turn left. Proceed to Foothill Blvd.
Turn right. Proceed to Dartmouth Ave. (next light)
At Dartmouth, make a U-turn and turn right into the
parking lot off Foothill.
On I-10 heading west, exit Monte Vista.
Turn right. Proceed to Foothill Blvd. (several lights).
Turn left. Proceed to Dartmouth Ave. (3 lights)
At Dartmouth, make a U-turn and turn right into the
parking lot off Foothill.
From west of Claremont:
On I-210 heading east, exit Towne Ave.
Turn left. Proceed to Dartmouth Ave. (3 lights)
Just past Dartmouth, turn right into the
parking lot off Foothill.
On I-10 heading east, exit Indian Hill Blvd.
Turn left. Proceed to Foothill Blvd. (several lights).
Turn right. Proceed to Dartmouth Ave. (next light).
Just past Dartmouth, turn right into the
parking lot off Foothill.
Although the parking lot is unlikely to be full, you can also park along Foothill.
From the parking lot mentioned above:
The building (Olin Science Center) is a 2-story to your right as you face south.
The front of the building is on Dartmouth.
You will be going to Beckman Hall, which is underground.
Enter through the center glass doors.
Head down the stairs directly to the auditorium.
