Dr. Lin gave an excellent presentation to a packed room at Cal Poly on November 16th and has provided us with his slides and materials. Please see the original post with the Meeting Flyer for the Abstract and further details. This presentation will help your understanding of the Software Development Process, plus Dr. Lin also discusses the Myths and Realities of how software is created today. A rousing discussion followed his presentation with many students and CS members discussing recent software and hardware development issues (such as the Samsung Galaxy phone problems, for example).
