The IEEE Foothill Section presented awards to three of its leaders at the May 14, 2013 monthly EXCOM meeting. These awards were a due recognition of the efforts of these three IEEE members in starting and developing the technical chapters in Computer Society and the Power end Energy Society over the past two year period. The time that these individuals spent in setting up and conducting a series of technical chapter meeting with presentations in these disciplines has contributed to a more vibrant and welcoming Section for all of our members
Ms Kimberly Mosley was honored for her Power and Energy Society efforts. Mr Bill Grist and Mr Cesar Vasquez-Carrera were honored for their joint work with the Computer Society. When you see and meet these persons at professional activities and / or IEEE functions, we encourage you to add your congratulations for IEEE volunteer tasks well done!
As you can see from the smiling photos taken at this presentation, these local IEEE Foothill awards , voted and approved by their peers, are most appreciated. Cesar was not present at this meeting; he was off googling or whatever good Google software engineers do. We will post his photo whenever he returns to an IEEE Foothill monthly
meeting from his far-flung work assignments.
