Hyperloop is planning a new transportation system involving moving pods containing cargo and/or people down an evacuated tube at speeds that will make possible a journey from LA to San Francisco in about 30 minutes.
Our visit will entail:
1) Introduction to Hyperloop technologies
2) 1 hour campus tour, including:
- a) Route analysis lab
- b) Tube lab
- c) Engineering facilities
- d) Test and Development Lab
- e) Review of Propulsion Open Air Test
- f) Technology Discussion
