IEEE PES student chapter CalPoly held annual Banquet at CalPoly, Pomona on May 17th, 2014. The banquest was well attended by about 70 people comprising of council members, outgoing students, IEEE Foothill Society memebrs, parents as well as CalPoly Faculty. There was a presentation from Scaled Composites on their products, company culture and what do they look for in their prospective employees. Their avarage employee age seems to be 36 years and it is interesting that they have not fired a single person in their company history of about 35 years. Apart from presentation, there was dinner and a Rafel draw, constituting several prizes in different categories to keep audience interested till the last draw, which was a Tablet…
